A dream come true!
In 2012 Mike and Cathi Dillon along with a very skilful winemaker, invested in five hectares of 35/40 year old vines in the Languedoc region of the South of France with a view to making organic wines. Since then, they have been producing excellent top quality organic wines, which can be enjoyed at any time.
In the early years, the wines were sold to restaurants and wine shops in France with Cathi importing a small amount for family and friends. However, when restaurants in the UK became interested and demand grew locally, Cathi decided to import in volume.
Our Story
The secret is out!
The Terrasses Du Larzac area is one of beautiful unspoilt countryside known for the Carignan, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache grapes.
The soil here is schist and sandstone and due to its position at the foothills of the Larzac plateau, the arid fast draining soil makes it unique and a perfect wine growing area. The Terrasses Du Larzac AOC was gained in 2015, the latest in the Languedoc.

All 3 Clos Ventas wines, 2 reds and a white are made in the traditional way of bio-dynamic viticulture.
There is no spraying of pesticides or other chemicals and the yeast is indigenous yeast found on the skins. The grapes are harvested manually.
